Studio Test

Here are some photos from my first attempt at using studio lighting with my Digital Rebel. For this setup, I'm using two 420EX flashes on stands with umbrellas (see the-digital-picture.com for details). These are remote controled by a Canon ST-E2 that's mounted in the hot shoe of the Rebel. I used a flash exposure compensation of +1EV (set using FECSet). The default setting produced photographs that were consistantly underexposed by at least one stop not matter what aperture or ISO setting I used.

My daughter and son were my patient subjects. Anyone have recommendations for a good orthodontist? :)
