This is an attempt to convey a mixture of patriotism and sadness. You may decide for yourself why the flag is sad. I think the composition worked well, but I continue to be frustrated with the camera's autofocus. I should have turned AF off and focussed this by hand. I took approximately 15 pictures as the breeze blew and selected the best one. This photo image was darkened and republished on 1/21/05 at 8:35 PM. |
